About the Event
The Esprit de Montréal Triathlon is one of the oldest and most prestigious triathlons in Canada. Held at Parc Jean-Drapeau on Île Sainte-Hélène, the event attracts athletes of all levels, from beginners to elites, in the exceptional setting of the 1976 Olympic facilities.
The Distances
- Super-Sprint Triathlon — 375m swimming, 10K biking, 2.5K running
- Sprint Triathlon — 750m swimming, 20K biking, 5K running
- Olympic Triathlon — 1.5K swimming, 40K biking, 10K running
- Long Distance Triathlon — 2K swimming, 80K biking, 20K running

The Setting of Parc Jean-Drapeau
The Esprit Triathlon takes advantage of the Olympic facilities at Parc Jean-Drapeau: swimming in the Olympic pool (controlled water), biking on the Gilles-Villeneuve Circuit (Formula 1 track), and running on the island's trails. A unique setting in Canada.
