1. Acceptance of terms

By accessing CourseQuébec (the "Site"), you accept these terms of service. If you do not accept, do not use the Site.

2. Service description

CourseQuébec is a free platform dedicated to running in Québec: race calendar, GPS routes, route planner, tools (pace calculator, VO₂ max, calories, etc.), blog and runner community.

3. User account

• You are responsible for keeping your password confidential and for all activity on your account.
• You must provide accurate information at signup.
• One account per person; multiple or impersonation accounts are prohibited.
• You can delete your account at any time from your profile.

4. User-generated content

When you publish content on the Site (GPS routes, events, stores, comments, photos), you retain ownership of that content, but you grant us a non-exclusive, free, worldwide, revocable license to display, distribute and promote it within the Site and its tools.

You warrant that you have the rights to the published content, and that it:

• Does not infringe any intellectual property rights.
• Is not defamatory, hateful, sexually explicit or illegal.
• Does not contain malware.
• Does not promote competing products or services without prior authorization.

We reserve the right to moderate, hide or remove any content that violates these rules, without prior notice.

5. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

• Attempt to access non-public parts of the Site, our servers, or other users' data.
• Use bots, scrapers or other automated means to extract data without our written authorization.
• Overload the Site (denial of service, mass requests).
• Use the Site for commercial purposes without prior agreement (advertising, solicitation).

6. GPS routes and physical activity

GPS routes, elevation data, distances and other sports information published on the Site are provided for informational purposes only. You are solely responsible for your safety, your physical condition, and verifying terrain conditions (traffic, weather, access, signage). CourseQuébec is not responsible for accidents, injuries or losses occurring while using the routes shown.

7. Intellectual property

The name "CourseQuébec", its logo, texts, design, code and databases are the property of H1Site and protected by Canadian and international intellectual property laws. Any reproduction without written authorization is prohibited.

8. External links

The Site may contain links to third-party sites (race registrations, stores, etc.). We do not control the content of these sites and are not responsible for them.

9. Advertising

The Site displays advertising via Google AdSense to fund its operation. See our privacy policy for details on advertising data collection and cookie consent.

10. Limitation of liability

The Site is provided "as is" without warranty of any kind. To the fullest extent permitted by law, CourseQuébec / H1Site disclaims all liability for:

• The accuracy, completeness or freshness of information shown (events, routes, stores).
• Site interruptions or errors.
• Direct or indirect damages resulting from Site use.
• Content published by other users.

11. Suspension and termination

We may suspend or delete your account if you violate these terms. You may terminate your account at any time.

12. Changes

These terms may be updated. Significant changes will be notified on the Site. Continued use after modification constitutes acceptance of the new terms.

13. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the Province of Québec, Canada. Any dispute will be subject to the competent courts of the judicial district of Montréal.
