About the Event
The Trail des Appalaches takes place in the beautiful Parc national de Frontenac, in the heart of the Granit region. This inclusive event is aimed at everyone, from experienced runners to families looking to get started in trail running. With distances ranging from 1 to 60 kilometers, everyone can take on a challenge that suits them while enjoying an exceptional natural setting.
The Course
The Trail des Appalaches course mainly consists of well-maintained trails, offering very little elevation change, making it particularly runnable and accessible. Participants will traverse forests, peat bogs, and clearings, all while admiring breathtaking panoramas. The distances offered are as follows:
- 1 km
- 5 km
- 10 km
- 15 km
- 30 km
- 60 km
Practical Notes
- Packet pickup: Saturday from 4 PM to 7 PM and Sunday starting at 6:30 AM.
- Race start times: Sunday, starting at 7:30 AM for the 60 km, and at intervals for the other distances.
- Kid-friendly event with a dedicated children's race at 11 AM.
