About the Event
The Duchesnay-Québec Marathon will take place over two days, on October 24 and 25, 2026. Fully booked for the past two years, this event is known for its warm and festive atmosphere, attracting runners of all levels. The marathon celebrates the end of the summer season and features an authentic and refreshing course, ideal for pushing your limits while enjoying the autumn colors of Québec.
The Course
The marathon course is distinguished by its linear layout, 90% through wooded areas, following the Vélopiste Jacques-Cartier/Portneuf. The start is at the Duchesnay Tourist Station, with a finish at the Valcartier Military Base. The elevation gain is 200m, mainly in the first half, providing ideal conditions for runners. The distances offered are:
