About the Event
The Sentier de l'Espoir, now in its 5th edition, will take place on July 18, 2026, at the Municipal Park of Rigaud. This festive and community-oriented event aims to promote health through physical activity while supporting the Foundation of the Hôpital Sacré-Cœur de Montréal. By participating, each runner directly contributes to research projects and the purchase of specialized equipment.
The Course
The course takes place on natural trails, offering a complete immersion in the forest. Participants can choose from several distances suitable for all levels:
- 1 km - Flat and safe course, ideal for young runners.
- 6 km - Perfect distance for those discovering trail running, with a stimulating elevation gain.
- 10 km - Technical trail with rough terrain and some climbs.
- 20 km - A mix of fun and challenge on a technical course.
- 30 km - The ultimate challenge for endurance runners, with demanding sections.
