About the Event

The Défi des 4 Versants in Saint-Elzéar is a running event that brings together physical activity enthusiasts at the beginning of autumn. This 13th edition will take place in September 2026, offering a friendly and motivating atmosphere for everyone, from seasoned runners to beginners. The varied courses in a rural and hilly environment allow everyone to take on a personal challenge while enjoying nature.

The Course

The courses of the Défi des 4 Versants mainly take place on wooded trails, featuring interesting elevation changes. Here are the distances offered:

• 1 km — For everyone
• 2 km — For everyone
• 5.7 km — 16 years and older
• 12.5 km — 16 years and older, with an elevation change of ±191 m
• 17.7 km — 16 years and older, with an elevation change of ±259 m
• 28.8 km — 16 years and older

The starts take place on the bike path, with courses that vary according to the distances, offering stunning views of the region.

Practical Notes

• Online registration with varying rates depending on the registration period.
• Race numbers to be picked up on-site on the day of the event.
