Chauveau Park Walking Trail
The walking trail of Chauveau Park is a highly appreciated natural route in Québec, located along the Saint-Charles River. It offers an immersion in nature while remaining easily accessible from the surrounding urban areas.
The main trail stretches for about 6 kilometers round trip, with an easy and slightly hilly layout, making it ideal for walking, gentle hiking, light running, and family outings. The surface is mostly made of crushed stone and natural trail, well-maintained throughout the season.
While walking, you will follow the river along several sections, with beautiful views of the water, dense wooded areas, and tranquil clearings. The calm of the place, combined with the singing of birds and the sound of water, makes it a perfect spot to escape the urban rhythm.
It is also possible to opt for a shorter loop of about 4 km, or to extend the hike by connecting to other sectors of the Saint-Charles River linear park for a longer outing.
