About the Event
The Wendake Trail is a trail running event that celebrates reconciliation between Québécois and First Nations peoples. It is a unique opportunity to get active while discovering Huron-Wendat culture through enchanting landscapes. Whether you are an experienced runner or a beginner, this event will allow you to experience an immersive and collective journey in the heart of ancestral territory.
The Course
The course mainly takes place on natural trails, offering varied and hilly terrain. Participants can register for different distances, allowing everyone to choose their challenge:
- 1 km
- 2 km
- 5 km
- 10 km
- 21 km
Each segment invites you to discover the history and surrounding nature, particularly by traversing sections of the Onhwa Lumina course.
Practical Notes
- Registration deadline: September 24 at midnight.
- A portion of the profits will be donated to the Nouveaux Sentiers Foundation.
- Food and craft zones will be accessible on site.
- A cross-training course and traditional dance performances will be offered in the family area.
