La Grande Vadrouille is a running event that has been taking place every year for over 40 years. Get ready for a festive atmosphere, with superheroes, princesses, and inflatable games, making it the ultimate family race. Residents of Vaudreuil-Dorion aged 17 and under can participate for free in the race of their choice by registering with the Recreation and Culture Department.
The Course
The course of La Grande Vadrouille is primarily on road and offers various distances suitable for all levels. The events include:
- 1 km (11 years and under)
- 2 km (19 years and under and 20 years and over)
- 5 km
- 10 km
- 15 km
Note that the 10 km and 15 km include a viaduct to cross, while the distances of 1 km, 2 km, and 5 km are flat. The start and finish take place at the Campus Cité des Jeunes.
Practical Notes
- Online registration available until September 17 at noon.
- Bibs will be distributed on-site the morning of the event.
- No strollers allowed on the 5 km, 10 km, and 15 km courses.
- Medals and prizes are offered to participants.
- Festive activities are planned throughout the day.
