About the Event
The H2O Amos is a triathlon held in Amos, in Abitibi-Témiscamingue. This event showcases the natural beauty of the region, including its crystal-clear lakes and boreal forest landscapes. It is one of the most popular multisport events in northern Québec.
The Distances
Several formats are offered to accommodate all athletes:
- Sprint Triathlon — Swimming 750 m, biking 20 km, running 5 km.
- Olympic Triathlon — Swimming 1500 m, biking 40 km, running 10 km.
- Duathlon — Running 5 km, biking 20 km, running 2.5 km (no swimming).
- Family and Youth Categories — Distances adapted.
