The Défi des escaliers SP is a must-attend physical challenge event in Mauricie. In 2026, it will celebrate its sixth edition, bringing together runners and walkers in a festive and friendly atmosphere. Participants will have the opportunity to choose from four distances, ranging from 1 km to 17 km, while tackling more than ten staircases and hundreds of steps.
The Course
The course takes place in the St-Sacrement church area, offering a stimulating challenge with several staircases and hilly terrain. The available distances are:
- 1 km
- 5 km
- 12 km
- 17 km
Starts are organized from 9 AM, and a medal ceremony is scheduled for noon.

- Online registration only, no registrations on the day of the race.
