About the Event
The Défi Coureur des Bois takes place at the Parc Nature du Lac Beattie and offers a friendly experience for runners of all levels. With several distances ranging from 1 km to 20 km, this event is perfect for families and experienced runners. The festive atmosphere and natural setting make this race a memorable moment for all participants.
The Course
The courses are primarily on trails and offer varied elevations. The 1 km course for children has been revamped, allowing for a start and finish at the same location as the other distances. The distances offered include:
- 1 km
- 3 km
- 6 km
- 10 km
- 20 km (two laps of the 10 km loop)
Each distance presents different elevations, thus providing challenges suited to all runners.

- The 1 km for children is free.
- Shuttles start at 7h and end at 13h.
- Medal presentation at 11h30.
- Changing rooms and refreshment stations will be available.
