About the Event

The Big Wolf's Backyard Ultra – Cacouna is a unique running event that takes place in a festive and warm atmosphere. Participants compete on a 6.7 km loop, with a format that allows for running day and night. This challenge is perfect for ultra-distance running enthusiasts looking to push their limits while enjoying a charming setting by the Saint Lawrence River.

The Course

The course is a 6.7 km loop with an elevation gain of 52 m. It consists of a gravel path and traverses fields, a marsh, a wooded area, and even a river. Runners start from the helipad, offering a beautiful view of the river.

Practical Notes

• Runners are responsible for their own supplies (snacks, drinks, meals).
• Only water will be provided on-site.
• Participants can set up in a large communal tent with their chair, bag, and cooler.
• Each runner may be accompanied by only one support team member, identified by a badge.
